Manufacturing processes

For over 40 years Cusfap has been renovating its machines to keep up to date with the latest manufacturing techniques of fine mechanical components on every kind of materials: Inconel, stainless steel, titanium, aluminium, copper, bronze, brass, Nylon, Polizene, Teflon, and other plastic materials.

Thanks to its long experience in selecting raw materials, Cusfap has a wide stock of high-quality materials available for its customers.

Main manufacturing processes:

  • Turning
  • Milling
  • Electro-erosion
  • Grinding
  • Equipment - Molds

Turning

The turning work is executed in 2D and 3D with the support of last generation Cad-Cam

Maximum processing diameter: 400 mm

Maximum processing lenght: 1500 mm

Our business specializes in the turning of special casts and forging of parts and other products starting from the base materials.

Furthermore, we manufacture products on a parallel lathe.

Milling

Starting from the design of 3D models that simulate an manufacture through CAD – CAM software, we execute milling using up to 5 axes on vertical centres.

Maximum milling dimension: 2000×800x500 mm.

In addition, we execute milling works using traditional milling machines.

Our business specializes in the milling of special casts, forging parts and other products starting from the base materials.

Electro-erosion

Employing our own EDM, our business manufactures complex components that are impossible to obtain using conventional techniques, such as:

hard materials, quenched steel, cuts, sharp edges and complex cavities.

To finish special products, we implement our experience in the production of molds using electro-erosion.

Grinding

We have grinding machines for cylindric and flat products. These kinds of machine are used to eliminate the last working imperfections, thereby obtaining perfect surfaces. This enables us to offer finished products to our customers.

Equipment and molds

We design and develop mechanical equipment to meet the needs of our customers. Our equipment is used in the following sectors: energy, pneumatic, automotive and aerospace.

We design and develop the following types of dies: injection moulding, die casting and trimming.
